Product Environmental Intern

Employment: Internship Department: Engineering Research & Development Start Date: Spring Job Description: As a Product Environmental Intern, you will support operations and collaborate with the Global Product Compliance team to evaluate products for compliance with various international environmental regulations. In this role, you will report to the Director of Operations, Compliance. Responsibilities: Support product environmental compliance evaluations in accordance with applicable international regulations. Communicate evaluation timelines and completed compliance documentation to internal stakeholders. Learn global environmental standards and regulations through training and collaboration with suppliers. Review bills of materials (BOMs) to assess product compliance with applicable regulations. Respond to customer requests for environmental product declarations and compliance attestations. Coordinate with third-party suppliers to obtain the information needed for compliance assessments. Prepare environmental compliance attestations and route documents for review and signature. Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation. Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to learn new regulations, systems, and processes quickly. Familiarity with environmental regulations, including EU RoHS, EU REACH, and PFAS. Experience with enterprise systems such as Oracle, Agile, or SAP. Familiarity with SharePoint. Compensation: The compensation for this role is $23.00–$30.00 per hour.
