Product Management Director

🌍 Remote · United States 💼 Full-time

Product Management Director About Siberia As an innovation and product studio, Siberia specializes in unsticking and accelerating orgs through pivots and big swings catalyzed by tech and cultural disruption. Our mission is to help our clients chart and navigate a future where technology has improved, but not over-optimized the human experience. To do this, we embed within and collaborate with world-class client teams, working through mission-critical problems to create and evolve digital-first products, brands, and businesses. Our client partners range from global organizations (Ford, Humana, Bloomberg) to culture drivers (James Beard Foundation, A24, The Whitney), and ambitious start-ups (Function, Spotter, Hello Sunshine). We organize project teams around craft disciplines—product, design, and engineering—but we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture and ability to adapt roles and processes to fit the challenge at hand and parameters set by project and client needs. The role At Siberia, Product Managers are at the heart of every engagement, owning the approach, structure, and momentum that transform ideas into exceptional digital products. Equal parts leader, collaborator, and executor, our PMs lead cross-functional teams and guide clients from initial brief to final delivery and beyond. We’re looking for a versatile product leader who is detail-oriented, strategic, and operationally-minded with a background in digital product and service design. You’ll guide our clients and teams through ambiguity with a steady hand, ensuring product thinking is grounded in business goals, user needs, and project realities. What you’ll do As a Product Management Director, you’ll take on a senior, hands-on role, leading complex engagements while helping evolve how our product practice operates and delivers value. Product Managers at Siberia lead across three core dimensions: Account Management Act as a strategic partner to clients, deeply understanding their goals, identifying opportunities, and advising on the best paths forward. Build and maintain strong relationships that foster collaboration and long-term success. Manage client expectations, navigate ambiguity, and align teams on shared outcomes. Represent both the agency and the client, ensuring client needs are understood while advocating for what’s best for the product and team. Product Management Translate client goals and user needs into actionable product direction. Define and document functional and technical requirements that guide design and development. Prioritize features, plan releases, and make informed tradeoffs to keep the product moving forward. Align internal and external stakeholders around the product vision and strategic roadmap. Project Management Own the delivery plan, including schedule, scope, and resources. Manage day-to-day operations of cross-functional teams (design, engineering, strategy). Lead team ceremonies, ensure clear documentation, and flag issues or risks early. Maintain momentum and accountability through clear communication and planning. What we’re looking for Beyond a 7+ year track record of leading digital products and services to launch, we’re looking for someone who brings a strategic mind, calm presence, and a real sense of ownership. You’re someone people trust—because you do the work, you hold the details, and you make teams feel stronger. Time spent inside a small to mid-sized design-driven agency leading teams and clients to ship great products. Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to “embrace the chaos,” a core Siberia value. A proactive DIY-oriented team player who is eager to step outside of their lane and find novel ways to push projects and our business forward. Clear communicator and sharp facilitator. You know how to run a room, keep meetings productive, and move decisions forward. Enthusiasm for and understanding of general design industry trends, emerging technologies, and the constantly shifting business and cultural landscape. A pragmatic operator with strong instincts around budgets, timelines, and the tradeoffs required to ship. A positive leader with a level head who can simultaneously motivate and hold teams and clients accountable while developing a culture of support, ownership, and dedication to craft. Location: Remote; PST - EST time zones preferred. Extended Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, 401k matching, Flexible time off, Parental leave, and other fun things that pop up throughout the year.
