Professional Sports PA Announcer Voice-Over for Basketball Game Introductions
Professional Sports PA / Arena Voice-Over for High School Basketball I’m looking for a professional male voice-over artist to record several pregame and game-day announcements for a high school girls basketball program. These recordings will be used throughout our entire basketball season, so I’m looking for a polished, professional arena / PA announcer sound. Voice Style I’m looking for: Deep, strong male voice Professional sports arena / PA announcer sound Confident and authoritative High energy when appropriate Dramatic without sounding cheesy or over-the-top Strong pacing and pauses Ability to build excitement leading into a team entrance Think professional basketball arena introduction, not radio commercial narration. Recordings The project will initially include two primary recordings: 1. Pregame Sportsmanship Announcement A professional announcement welcoming fans, covering sportsmanship expectations, and leading directly into the National Anthem. Approximately 60–90 seconds. 2. Varsity Team Entrance A shorter, much more energetic introduction used immediately before our varsity girls basketball team enters the gym. The final line needs a BIG arena-style delivery: “LADIES AND GENTLEMEN… YOUR… RIVIERA… LADY SEAHAWKS!” Approximately 20–30 seconds. I may also add several shorter game-day announcements once I select the right voice. Audio Requirements Please provide: Clean, professionally recorded audio WAV and MP3 versions No background noise Individual audio files for each announcement Raw/voice-only versions Broadcast-ready processing/EQ Full commercial/use rights allowing the school basketball program to use the recordings repeatedly throughout the season I will add music and sound effects separately unless you have experience producing complete sports-arena introductions. Audition Please send a sample demonstrating a sports PA / arena announcer voice. If possible, include a quick sample reading: “Ladies and gentlemen… YOUR… RIVIERA… LADY SEAHAWKS!” I’m specifically looking for someone who can make that final team introduction sound like it belongs in a professional basketball arena. If this works well, there will likely be additional announcements needed throughout the seaso
