Project Engineer - Remote
About the Role
A client in the energy sector is seeking a Project Engineer for a fully remote position focused on energy storage projects. The role involves planning, designing, and executing project activities, including defining project scope, exploring technical requirements, providing engineering oversight, and consulting with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate combines a strong engineering background with project engineering experience and knowledge of electrical utilities, substations, and renewable energy technologies, including wind, solar, and battery storage.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, design, and execute various aspects of energy storage projects. Explore technical requirements and relevant project considerations. Define project scope and support project planning. Provide engineering oversight throughout project activities. Consult and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery. Apply technical expertise and project management skills to help deliver high-quality energy storage solutions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering. At least 3 years of experience in Project Engineering. Experience with electrical utilities, including substations and renewable energy technologies such as wind, solar, and battery storage. Strong technical expertise and project management skills. Location and Work Arrangement Fully remote position.
Compensation
Hourly pay rate of $55–$72, based on experience.
