Project Lead, Client Onboarding

Job Description:

• Manage end-to-end onboarding of multiple healthcare clients into coding and billing services
• Gather setup data and lead client and internal meetings for data interface and billing system setups
• Coordinate with vendor partners to ensure smooth transition to Client Success and Service Delivery teams after go-live
• Lead cross-functional teams through 1–3 month onboarding projects
• Serve as the primary client contact during onboarding
• Manage project timelines, tasks, and communications for on-time delivery
• Identify and escalate issues and drive resolution with internal and external stakeholders
• Lead client meetings and address onboarding concerns
• Coordinate accurate setup of coding, billing, and reporting services
• Collect and validate client data for system configuration
• Anticipate client needs, assess risks, and implement proactive solutions
• Maintain and share onboarding status updates
• Improve onboarding strategies, workflows, and processes
• Facilitate post-go-live monitoring and implementation transition
• Participate in special projects and perform other assigned duties

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Five (5) years of related project management experience
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Experience managing multiple projects
• Working knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management specific to coding and billing
• Working knowledge of project management tools and software
• Strong strategic thinking, complex project implementation, and process development skills
• Strong word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software skills
• Strong management-level oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong presentation development and delivery skills
• Strong decision-making, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to apply business process acumen to process improvement projects with measurable outcomes
• Ability to influence, negotiate, and lead across internal constituencies
• Ability to meet deadlines and produce deliverables against target dates
• Ability to establish trust and credibility at all organizational levels
• Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives
• Ability to coordinate project implementations with diverse stakeholders
