Project Management Director

Role Description The Project Management Director is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading and overseeing key programs and projects across HANOVER HEALTH & REHAB. This position directs project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining project scope, timelines, and budgets; coordinating cross-functional teams; tracking progress and risks; and communicating status updates to stakeholders and senior leadership. The director will also drive process improvement initiatives, standardize project methodologies, and mentor project managers and team leads to strengthen project management capabilities across the organization. Collaboration with clinical, operational, and administrative teams is essential to ensure that projects support high-quality patient care and efficient operations.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in Project Management and Program Management, including leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. Strong Budgeting and financial oversight skills to plan, manage, and optimize project and program resources. Proven Team Leadership and people management capabilities, with experience guiding cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority. Experience in Process Improvement, including analyzing workflows, implementing standardized practices, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Lean Six Sigma) is preferred. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and organizational skills. Experience in hospital, health care, or rehabilitation settings is advantageous but not required.
