Project Manager - Generator/HVAC Maintenance

About the Opportunity: The PROJECT MANAGER - GENERATOR/HVAC MAINTENANCE leads project teams to deliver complex construction projects on time and within budget. This role ensures safety and quality standards are met, manages schedules and budgets, and facilitates communication among internal teams and external clients. The position directly impacts project success by overseeing all aspects from planning through closeout, promoting a safe work environment, and supporting efficient operations. Responsibilities: Lead and promote safety culture on site, ensuring standards are met or exceeded Facilitate creation and implementation of the Project Quality Plan and lead quality assurance efforts Create and maintain project schedules and update stakeholders weekly Support business partner selection, procurement, and negotiations Manage the change management process Set up project systems including cost accounting and directories, and manage budgets for design consultants Lead internal and external project teams to ensure on-budget and on-schedule delivery Communicate project status daily to customers and management Develop processes and teams to meet all project requirements Coordinate with Construction Lead on timing, execution, and closeout Lead client and project team meetings weekly Direct Construction Management on task execution Track project completion, closeout, and invoicing Approve timesheets and daily logs Ensure crews have necessary equipment Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience in generator or HVAC maintenance At least 2 years of Project Management experience Proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables Commitment to safety Track record of quality work completion Problem-solving skills and hands-on work approach Interest in long-term projects High School Diploma or equivalent 3 years of construction project experience Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Intermediate schedule management experience Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments Strong written and verbal communication skills Precise hand-eye coordination Good vision for distance and spatial judgment Ability to distinguish colors Blueprint reading skills Ability to report progress and issues to leadership Safety training and OSHA knowledge Ability to commute to remote work sites Preferred: telecom construction PM or CM experience, Smartsheet proficiency Pay Range and Compensation Package: Compensation of $80,000 to $95,000 annually, depending on experience Benefits & Perks: 401(k) with company match Employee Stock Purchase Plan Life insurance Short-term and long-term disability Medical, dental, and vision insurance Dependent care and medical flexible spending accounts Employee Assistance Program Paid time off, holidays, sick leave, and family/medical leave Red Wing Boot Voucher Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
