About the position Heartline Staffing is hiring a Project Manager to oversee one or more information technology projects for a government organization in Pontiac, Michigan. The role involves building project teams, managing schedules and budgets, and guiding projects from start to finish. The Project Manager serves as a liaison between project team members and the functional areas requesting projects, working in a Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps, and Agile environment. The position is hybrid, with two days per week onsite in Pontiac, and candidates must be local to Pontiac.
Responsibilities
- Oversee one or more information technology projects.
- Assemble project teams and assign individual responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Determine resource needs and work with supervision to acquire them.
- Oversee project progress and workload throughout each project.
- Serve as liaison between project team members and the functional area requesting the project.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Experience overseeing projects, including assembling teams, assigning responsibilities, and managing schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Experience serving as liaison between project teams and requesting functional areas.
- Experience with CA Clarity Portfolio Management, MS Project, Azure DevOps, MS Visio, Microsoft 365 Services, SharePoint Online, and MS Teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Must be local to Pontiac, Michigan and able to work onsite two days per week.
