About Us
Upward Call Counseling PLLC is a Christian-based group practice seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, clinical reviews, and service orders. We offer a collaborative team environment with administrative and billing support.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations. Provide medication management and follow-up care. Develop and update individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with therapists to support coordinated care. Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation. Follow applicable professional, ethical, and regulatory requirements. Complete clinical reviews of assessments, treatment plans, and supporting documentation to evaluate clinical needs and medical necessity. Complete and sign service orders when clinically appropriate and required by the applicable payer.
Qualifications
Active North Carolina licensure and board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Active DEA registration. Experience conducting psychiatric evaluations and providing medication management. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Familiarity with medical necessity reviews and service-order documentation preferred. Telehealth experience and experience working with Medicaid and commercial insurance preferred.
