About the Role

Upgrade is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain test automation infrastructure that improves software quality and developer productivity. This role combines test automation engineering with infrastructure development, including ownership of automation services and deploying them into production. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to develop testing tools and capabilities across microservices and Kubernetes environments. The position also focuses on building agentic solutions and coordinating multiple agents to advance automation and testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design and architect scalable test automation infrastructure. Build, own, and maintain automation services used by engineering teams. Deploy and support automation services in production environments. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify testing needs and develop effective tooling. Build agentic solutions and orchestrate multiple agents to support testing workflows. Improve testing capabilities across microservices-based architectures. Develop automation approaches that support applications running in Kubernetes environments. Identify opportunities to improve developer productivity through better automation and testing infrastructure. Location and Work Arrangement Fully remote position within the United States.
