QAD ERP Functional Consultant

Job Title: QAD ERP Functional Consultant with Portuguese language exp Work Location: Remote Long Term Contract Job Summary: 5+ years of QAD experience as a Functional Support Consultant or Business Analyst, supported by strong analytical, planning, and prioritization capabilities Effective communication in Portuguese Language is a must Provide functional leadership and support for QAD ERP, with primary responsibility for Financials across Standard Edition (SE) and Enterprise Edition (EE). Partner with global IT, finance, and business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into scalable ERP solutions. Manage and prioritize incidents, service requests, and enhancements through Service Desk+, ensuring timely resolution and business continuity. Support related QAD capabilities, including the Reporting Framework, Progress 4GL, Browses, and associated business systems. Apply strong knowledge of financial processes, regulatory requirements, and reporting standards within a multinational manufacturing environment. Lead functional analysis, solution validation, testing, documentation, deployment support, and end-user training. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance system performance, process efficiency, controls, and user experience. Contribute to major incident management through structured problem-solving, root-cause analysis, stakeholder communication, and corrective actions. Demonstrate self-motivation, effective English communication is an added advantage, and the ability to perform in high-pressure, collaborative environments; experience with Epicor, IFS, Sage, Azure DevOps, or JIRA is advantageous.
