An established national law firm is seeking a talented attorney to join its California litigation and dispute resolution practice. This opportunity offers exposure to challenging real estate, construction and commercial disputes, with the chance to work alongside experienced litigators on matters involving complex contractual and business issues. If you're interested in developing your litigation skills, gaining greater case responsibility or exploring an environment offering sophisticated legal work, this opportunity is worth considering. What You'll Be Doing Representing clients in real estate, construction and commercial disputes. Handling complex property-related and contractual litigation. Managing matters in California state and federal courts. Drafting pleadings, substantive motions and legal memoranda. Conducting discovery, taking depositions and preparing witnesses. Developing litigation strategies and advising clients on risk. Participating in mediations, arbitrations and settlement negotiations. Preparing for hearings and trial proceedings. Collaborating with experienced commercial and real estate litigators. Managing deadlines, client relationships and billable-time requirements.
What We're Looking For
Active California Bar membership. Experience in real estate litigation, construction disputes or commercial litigation. Strong legal research, writing and advocacy skills. Experience with discovery, depositions and substantive motion practice. Familiarity with California state and federal court procedures. Excellent communication and analytical capabilities. Commercial awareness and strong client relationship skills. A desire to develop professionally through challenging litigation work. What's on Offer?
