Registered Nurse - Complex Planning Family

Position: Complex Family Planning Registered Nurse Location: Niles, IL (remote work possible 2 days/month) Type: Full Time Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm Travel: Occasional travel to Chicago as needed

Responsibilities

Include Providing clinical triage for patients with complex family planning needs, including contraception and pregnancy termination considerations. Assessing medical, surgical, obstetric, gynecologic, medication, and reproductive histories to determine appropriate care. Offering patient-centered education on contraceptive and pregnancy options, procedures, medications, testing, and follow-up. Providing compassionate support, including pre- and post-procedure care and follow-up. Recognizing complications and facilitating timely clinical evaluation and intervention. Coordinating appointments, testing, referrals, and follow-up to ensure seamless patient care. Participating in quality improvement, clinical workflow development, staff education, and departmental projects related to reproductive health.

Qualifications

And Skills Current RN license; Associate degree required, BSN preferred. Experience in women's health, family planning, or obstetrics/gynecology. Strong assessment, triage, communication, and clinical decision-making skills. Professional, empathetic, and respectful approach to sensitive patient interactions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
