Remote Position

[Remote] 2026 Sr. Program Organizer

🌍 Remote · United States 💼 Full-time

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Relentless builds technology and programs to activate low-turnout voters and unlock political power. The Sr. Program Organizer supports and coaches part-time Program Organizers while also serving as a full-time Program Organizer, leading virtual events, supporting participants, and adapting to shifting program needs.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Deputy Director of Program, Organizer Experience to create the team culture for the POs, including: information sharing, feedback structure, event quality
  • Serve as the primary lead for a designated cohort of POs
  • Host regular in check-ins, answer questions, and share program updates
  • Provide constructive, actionable feedback and coaching to POs to strengthen their event facilitation and inbox coordination
  • Serve as a full-time Program Organizer, including swinging into the following roles:
  • Event Leadership: Lead 1-hour virtual events end-to-end, serving as the face of the program to participants. Each event involves filling one of three rotating event roles, managing breakout rooms throughout the session, and monitoring rapid-response Slack channels in real time
  • Above all, Program Organizers foster a positive, inclusive environment where participants feel supported, confident, and excited about the work they're doing. A customer service and solutions-oriented mindset is key — you'll be fielding questions on the fly and helping participants troubleshoot in real time, all while keeping the energy high
  • Inbox Support: Work in the inbox as the primary point of contact for our participants, responding to inquiries via the program inbox and providing timely, accurate, and helpful information. You'll assist participants in navigating program logistics, requirements, deadlines, and resources — and where needed, identify and troubleshoot issues or escalate them to the appropriate team
  • This isn't just reactive support. You'll proactively follow up with participants to ensure they're on track, help with onboarding processes, and gather feedback on participant experiences to share with the broader team. A solutions-oriented mindset and genuine empathy for participants are essential — we want every participant to feel supported every step of the way
  • Meet regularly with the Deputy Director of Program, Organizer Experience to evaluate program, troubleshoot issues and identify areas for improvement
  • Work closely with the Organizer Logistics Manager to resolve shift coverage gaps, attendance issues, or last-minute call-outs
  • Use our tools — Notion, Canva, Google Workspace, and Slack — to do the work, collaborate across teams, and execute tasks on time
  • Take on additional responsibilities as they come up, with the expectation that your day-to-day mix of work will shift with program needs
