Authentic Group of Companies is seeking an Account Manager – Minerals & Nutrients to drive sales growth and develop customer relationships across the food, beverage, human nutrition, and dietary supplement industries. The role focuses on territory sales strategies, managing and expanding customer accounts, promoting ingredient solutions, monitoring markets, and supporting business development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Manage and expand existing customer accounts while identifying and converting new business opportunities
- Build strong relationships with customers across food and beverage, vitamins, minerals and supplements (VMS), and dietary supplements
- Promote ingredient solutions for relevant product applications, including beverages, frozen desserts, bakery fillings, and confectionery
- Monitor market trends, customer demand, competitive activity, and pricing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business development and product growth
- Maintain sales forecasts, customer activity reports, and territory performance updates
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a technical discipline
- At least 5 years of branded ingredient sales experience
- Established network within the Food & Beverage, VMS, or dietary supplement industries
- Excellent sales, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong communication, organization, planning, and follow-up abilities
- Ability to work independently in a geographically dispersed territory
- Must reside in California or Arizona
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- An MBA or postgraduate degree
- Strong preference for flavor ingredient sales experience in beverages, frozen desserts, bakery fillings, or confectionery
