Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Gundersen Health System is seeking an Application Analyst to support and optimize its Epic Cadence application. The role partners with operational, clinical, and technical teams to improve scheduling workflows, provider template management, system performance, and patient access.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots and resolves basic application issues and provides end user support
- Collaborate with IT, operational, and clinical teams to ensure optimal scheduling workflows and system performance
- Monitors applications for issues in connection with maintenance, upgrades, and implementations
- Builds and maintains provider schedules, appointment templates, and scheduling rules within Epic Cadence
- Participate in projects related to system enhancements, workflow optimization, integrations, and new implementations
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience and education
- At least 2-4 years of relevant work experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving experience
- Strong understanding of patient scheduling, provider template management, registration, and access workflows
- Experience working with clinic operations, access teams, and operational stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
- Experience working in a healthcare IT environment
- Epic Cadence certification preferred
