Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Apolis is seeking an experienced AWS Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable, secure AWS cloud environments. The role focuses on AWS storage, cloud networking, security, enterprise pipeline orchestration, cloud operations, troubleshooting, and collaboration on integrations and deployments.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
- Manage Amazon S3 environments across landing, curated, and archive layers
- Develop and manage enterprise data pipeline scheduling and orchestration using Stonebranch
- Configure and support AWS VPC, networking, IAM, and security
- Implement secure and scalable cloud solutions aligned with enterprise requirements
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and pipeline issues
- Support cloud operations, monitoring, performance optimization, and incident resolution
- Collaborate with engineering and application teams on cloud integrations and deployments
- Follow cloud security, access control, and operational best practices
Skills
- 18+ years of overall IT/cloud engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon S3
- Strong experience with Stonebranch scheduling and orchestration
- Strong knowledge of AWS VPC, networking, IAM, and security
- Experience supporting enterprise AWS environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with distributed teams and enterprise cloud environments
