Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dragonfly Health is a care-at-home data, technology, and service platform serving hospice and post-acute healthcare. The Billing Analyst manages monthly invoicing, validates billing data, prepares client metrics, analyzes operational information, and supports billing accuracy and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly invoicing activities, including validating invoice data, making necessary adjustments, and ensuring processes are followed accurately
- Maintain invoicing procedures and help ensure consistent execution across the team
- Create monthly client metric reporting for the Client Services team
- Analyze data and provide reporting or insights to support other teams across the organization
- Lead and review invoicing and data-quality work completed by Billing Specialists
- Work closely with Finance, Data Integrity, and Data Analytics to resolve issues and support accurate client billing and reporting
- Develop an understanding of system usage and recurring issues to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience
- Participate in invoicing-related application testing and special projects as needed
Skills
- 1–2+ years of general administrative experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review data, identify trends, connect information, and clearly summarize findings
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and present data
- Excellent organization, planning, prioritization, and follow-through
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Accounting, billing, or similar experience is preferred
- Experience within hospice, DME, pharmacy, managed care, or another healthcare environment is a plus
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, accounting, healthcare, or a related area is preferred
