Remote Billing Specialist - Construction OSP

Role :Billing Specialist / Construction OSP Location :Remote Duration :Contract to hire Rate :28-31hr Work Authorization :US Citizen, Green Card, or authorized to work in the US Billing Audit SpecialistAudit all Construction Vendor submitted invoices aiding in a fair and accurate accounting.The selected candidate will be required to interface in a cross-functional team environment and contribute independent ideas and participate in an efficient, productive, and effective team.They will be expected to -Review submitted Construction Vendor invoicesProvide a final disposition concerning the legitimacy of each billed unitResolve all deficiencies.Foster development of new processes and improvement of existing processes aiding in a fair and accurate accountingConstruction Vendor and Approver training.Roles and Responsibilities :1) Work to achieve team objectives, adhere to current policies, procedures, and long-range strategies.2) Plan, coordinate and document special projects and ongoing program workflows to ensure efficiency and best practices are incorporated into the final product.3) 2-4 years' experience engaging with Construction Vendors and their related SOWs (Statement of Work).4) Ability to read OSP construction drawings.5) Ability to manage multiple projects / tasks at the same time.6) Ability to assess risk and make decisions that can impact the business.7) Experience using Microsoft Office products with a focus on Excel 8) Experience using Varasset and SiteTracker 9) Experience using SharePoint based applications 10) Ability to participate in a cross-functional environment and contribute independent ideas to the discussion.11) Ability to work independently 12) Providing urgent Ad-hoc data requests as requested 13) Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications :2-4 Years of related experienceStrong technical, analytical, and organizational skillsStrong written and mature interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex topics in both written and verbal form.Self-Starter who can work effectively, independently, as well as in a cross functional team environmentSkills, Traits and Characteristics Necessary for Success :Requires exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills including attention to detail, superior problem-solving skills, and a high degree of organization.Excellent verbal and written skills.Must be comfortable working in a structured, fast paced environment that embraces an entrepreneurial spiritThe ability to adjust to unanticipated changes in your daily schedulewill provide technical expertise and operational leadership in conceiving and implementing a Construction Vendor Invoice audit team.Our benefits package includes :Comprehensive medical benefits Competitive pay 401(k) retirement plan and much more!
