Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PACE is an independent benefits and insurance broker providing group benefits, retirement, voluntary benefits, and individual insurance solutions. The Business Development Representative will drive new business through outbound prospecting, qualify opportunities, and book meetings for Advisors while managing pipeline activity and meeting performance targets.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business by making outbound calls to qualified prospects using leads provided by PACE
- Operate in a outbound environment, with daily call expectations and performance targets
- Generate interest, uncover decision-making criteria, and book qualified meetings for our Advisors
- Learn to identify key details about a prospects benefits landscape; group size, renewal dates, current carriers and use that info to strengthen the sales funnel
- Build relationships with decision-makers through strategic outreach and professional follow-ups
- Consistently achieve weekly activity and meeting benchmarks with the support of coaching and sales leadership
- Keep your pipeline and activity clean and organized using our CRM system
Skills
- 12 years of sales experience with proven results
- Experience with outbound calling, prospecting or appointment setting
- Comfortable with daily outbound calls and working toward performance metrics
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- A self-starter whos organized, goal-driven, and coachable
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
