The Senior Network Architect will temporarily support enterprise network infrastructure by managing and enhancing routing and switching networks, providing Cisco expertise, troubleshooting operations, and mentoring engineering resources while working remotely on the East Coast.
Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance enterprise routing and switching networks, with a focus on BGP and related protocols
- Understand and work with sophisticated enterprise routing solutions, including copilot-type integrations
- Provide technical expertise in Cisco network environments, ensuring adherence to best practices
- Collaborate with the team to support ongoing network operations, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Travel as needed to support on-site requirements and project needs
- Assist in the onboarding and mentorship of additional engineering resources as needed
Skills
- Proven experience as a senior network architect with a strong background in BGP, BGP multiprotocol (bi-grp), and enterprise routing solutions
- Deep knowledge of routing and switching protocols
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification
- Extensive experience working with Cisco network hardware and configurations
- Experience serving as a senior engineer or similar senior technical role
