Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tensor is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to build and lead its finance function, ensure financial integrity, and drive shareholder value. The role oversees investor relations, fundraising and capital markets, financial strategy and management, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Investor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and financial institutions. Communicate the company's financial performance, strategy, and growth story effectively
- Fundraising & Capital Markets: Lead capital-raising efforts, including private and public financing, and manage relationships with investors
- Financial Strategy & Management: Oversee financial planning, treasury, and risk management to optimize the company's capital structure and support business growth
- Regulatory & Compliance & Executive Leadership: Ensure adherence to SEC regulations, US GAAP, and SOX compliance, working closely with investment banks, legal advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies
Skills
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with a strong emphasis on capital markets, fundraising, and investor relations
- Proven track record of successfully leading a company through a significant financing event
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, SEC regulations, SOX compliance, and public company financial reporting
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to engage with investors, analysts, and public markets
- Strong financial modeling, strategic analysis, and capital markets expertise
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Investment banking, private equity, or public company finance experience is strongly preferred
- Experience in the AI, technology, or automotive sectors is highly desirable
