[Remote] Civil AutoCAD Designer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Valvoline Inc. is a leader in automotive preventive maintenance focused on delivering efficient, trusted service across its stores. The Civil AutoCAD Designer will support Retail Services by developing and distributing conceptual site plans, signage layouts, prototype documents, renderings, and other design materials while managing CAD standards and collaborating with internal teams and external architects and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the creation of Conceptual Site Plans and Site Criteria Checklists
• Prototype document management and distribution
• Prepare for and lead the weekly CSP Kickoff calls with outside A/E Consultants, and VIOC Team members from Real Estate, Pre-Construction, and Construction
• Creation of Signage Layout Drawings and Color Renderings
• Special Projects/Exbibits/New Design Sketches
• Creation/Management of VIOC CAD Standards
• CAD and Image Designer 2 will interact with all levels of the Retail Development group and external Architects and Engineers

Skills

• The CAD Designer 2 must be able to work in an open team environment, fluent in AutoCAD 2023, have a good understanding of imperial and metric systems, be able to read and interpret Civil, Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing drawings, have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
• Associates Degree in Architectural Technology or comparable degree
• 3-5 Years in comparable field
• AutoCAD 2023, Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Revit a plus but not required
