Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GPRS provides technology and services for intelligently visualizing the built world, including utility mapping, GPR, concrete scanning, 3D modeling, reality capture, and digital facility records. The Cloud & Platform Manager will lead Azure-based SaaS infrastructure and platform operations, oversee DevOps, SRE, Cloud, and Integration teams, and improve reliability, automation, security, and operational maturity.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a cross functional team
- Establish clear priorities, ownership, and delivery processes
- Manage contractor projects and performance
- Partner with product and development teams to align platform capabilities with business needs
- Own the reliability, scalability, and performance of Azure infrastructure
- Drive Infrastructure as Code and automation practices
- Support CI/CD pipelines and environment strategy
- Optimize cloud cost, usage, and architecture
- Implement and mature monitoring, logging, and alerting practices
- Manage and track SLAs/SLOs
- Lead incident response and continuous improvement efforts
- Employ cloud security best practices
- Support compliance initiatives (e.g., SOC 2, NIST, ISO, FedRAMP)
- Identify and mitigate operational and security risks
- Oversee platform integrations and system interoperability
- Ensure reliable data flow across internal and third party systems
- Assist in administrating the various tools and technologies that support our platform and development process (DevOps, CNAPP/CSPM, DAST/SAST, Observability Stack)
Skills
- 3+ Years in a Team Management Role
- 5 to 8 years in cloud, infrastructure, or platform roles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience leading cross functional or hybrid team
- Strong hands on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with DevOps/SRE practices and cloud operations
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of cloud security
- Preference will be given to candidates located near Maumee, OH, Dallas, TX, Orlando, FL, or Mesa, AZ
