Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is partnering with a highly respected CPA and advisory firm that is expanding its Corporate Tax team across Ohio. The Corporate Tax Accountant will prepare and review tax returns, reputed company tax research, support tax planning and consulting projects, analyze financial information, and develop client relationships while collaborating on complex engagements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review corporate, partnership, S-Corp, and individual tax returns
- Perform federal, state, and local tax research (SALT)
- Assist with tax planning, projections, and consulting projects
- Analyze financial information and identify planning opportunities
- Build relationships with clients and become a trusted advisor
- Collaborate with Managers and reputed company on complex tax engagements
- Mentor junior staff as your career progresses
- Stay current on evolving tax legislation and regulations
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Experience preparing business tax returns
- Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills
- A team-first mindset with a desire to continue learning and growing
- CPA, EA, or actively pursuing certification preferred
