Remote CPA Location: Remote (Candidates must reside outside of NY and NJ) Compensation: Starting at $100,000 annually; compensation may be adjusted for the right candidate. About the Opportunity A law firm based in Garden City, NY is seeking an experienced CPA to join its team in a fully remote capacity. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who has experience managing financial operations across multiple entities and can thrive in a dynamic environment with diverse business structures.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and financial reporting for multiple entities.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
• Handle account reconciliations and intercompany transactions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable regulations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Coordinate with outside tax professionals, auditors, and other advisors as needed.
• Support financial operations and reporting across various business interests.

Qualifications

Required

• Active CPA designation.
• Experience working with multiple entities and complex organizational structures.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience working with Puerto Rico companies.
• Experience with funding companies, specialty finance, lending, or similar organizations.
• Background in professional services, legal, investment, family office, or multi-entity environments.
