Remote Customer Service Representative
Company Overview Mr. Handyman performs a wide range of home and business maintenance and repair services in the areas around Newtown, PA and Princeton, NJ. We have a small team of experienced, professional service professionals in the field who deliver quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Our office staff supports them with strong communication and great customer service. Job Overview We are seeking one personable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. This individual would train in our office (Newtown, PA or Princeton, NJ, so you need to live relatively close), and then primarily work from home. In this role, you will be the friendly voice for our clients, managing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and supporting our technicians. Your personality, enthusiasm and communication skills will help us deliver exceptional service while maintaining efficient workflows.
Responsibilities
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or text with a positive attitude. This requires an organized person, who is diligent about follow-up and comfortable talking on the phone. DIscuss what makes us special with new customers. Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely arrivals. This requires some comfort with sales. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, appointments, and service by entering notes into our operations software. Call customers to ensure they are happy.
Requirements
Experience in customer service or sales. Home improvement knowledge is a significant plus as we take on a wide range of projects. Strong communication skills with the ability to listen actively and convey information clearly. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers flexible remote work - but we are looking for someone who lives locally for training and because the ability to attend occasional team meetings would be a plus. We can consider part-time or full-time applicants for this role. Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
