Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PHT Staffing LLC is recruiting for one of its clients for a contract Data Engineer opportunity. The role focuses on developing and troubleshooting data pipelines and platforms using Databricks, dbt, PySpark, Python, SQL, Lakehouse Architecture, and Delta Lake, including root cause analysis of complex data issues.
Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- 5+ years of experience with PySpark and Python programming
- 5+ years of strong SQL experience for data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and debugging
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks and Lakehouse Architecture
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with dbt , including data transformation, testing, and model development
- Hands-on experience with Delta Lake and modern data platforms
- Strong experience with Data Troubleshooting & Debugging , including debugging data pipelines, data quality issues, and production failures
- Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and resolve complex data issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
