Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at brighthush, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our utility database. Your day‑to‑day tasks will include:

• Reviewing and validating address information to ensure compliance with local utility regulations.
• Entering and updating data across multiple platforms, including Google Workspace, proprietary databases, and GIS tools.
• Conducting thorough research to resolve discrepancies, verify service availability, and gather additional context for new addresses.
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams—Customer Success, Product, and Engineering—to troubleshoot data issues and refine data pipelines.
• Maintaining meticulous records of data entry activities, including timestamps, error logs, and resolution notes.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, automate repetitive tasks, and streamline workflows.

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in data management, GIS, or a related field is a plus.
