[Remote] Data Scientist

SoTalent is a design services company seeking a Data Scientist to leverage data, analytics, and AI to solve business challenges and influence strategic decision-making. The role involves partnering cross-functionally, conducting experiments and statistical analyses, developing predictive models, and leading end-to-end data science initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Design, Research, and other business functions to define success metrics and uncover actionable insights
• Design and execute experiments, statistical analyses, and data-driven strategies to support business growth and product improvements
• Develop predictive models, analytical frameworks, and forecasting solutions that enable informed decision-making
• Build and maintain scalable datasets, tools, and reporting systems that improve data accessibility and efficiency
• Lead end-to-end analytics and data science projects, from problem definition through implementation and business impact measurement
• Promote data quality, governance, and best practices to foster a data-driven culture across the organization
• Identify opportunities to enhance operational processes, user experiences, and revenue performance through advanced analytics and AI-powered solutions

Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related quantitative field
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis and modeling
• Hands-on experience working with large-scale data platforms, cloud data warehouses, or distributed data processing technologies
• Solid understanding of statistics, experimentation methodologies, forecasting techniques, and predictive analytics
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data findings into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve business problems and deliver measurable outcomes
• Strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and a passion for uncovering insights that drive innovation and growth
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, or advanced analytical solutions
