Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PHT Staffing LLC is seeking an experienced Data Scientist for a healthcare-focused contract opportunity. The role involves applying machine learning, advanced analytics, master data management, and data engineering practices to large-scale healthcare data in a fully remote environment.
Skills
- 7+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, or a related field
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in the Healthcare domain, working with patient, member, provider, payer, claims, or other healthcare datasets
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks and 2+ years of strong Python development experience
- Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Statistical Analysis, Predictive Analytics, Exploratory Data Analysis, Feature Engineering, and Model Evaluation
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, MLflow, and Lakehouse architecture
- Advanced SQL skills with experience in complex queries, data transformation, analysis, validation, and large-scale datasets
- Strong experience with Master Data Management (MDM), including Entity Resolution, Data Matching, Deduplication, Golden/Master Records, Data Standardization, Data Quality, and Reference/Master Data
- Strong understanding of Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Lineage, and Data Modeling
- Experience developing and deploying production-grade machine learning models and data science pipelines
- Experience working with large-scale structured and semi-structured healthcare data
- Strong understanding of HIPAA, healthcare data privacy, security, and governance requirements
- Experience with Patient/Member Data and healthcare data models; knowledge of FHIR and/or HL7 is required
- Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
