Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Data Science Specialist to reconstruct and enhance data-driven presentations and transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. The role involves creating visualizations and analytics reports, editing content, refining presentations, and collaborating through iterative feedback cycles.
Responsibilities
- Reconstruct, redesign, and enhance data-driven presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint to ensure clarity and visual consistency
- Create compelling visualizations that transform complex data into insights, supporting effective visual storytelling across various audiences
- Edit content for accuracy, flow, and narrative impact while maintaining high standards of written communication
- Apply advanced data analysis and statistical reasoning to interpret datasets and derive actionable conclusions for presentation materials
- Develop analytics reports that summarize key findings, trends, and recommendations with precision and attention to detail
- Critically review and refine existing slides and reports to align with best practices in data visualization and design
- Collaborate on feedback cycles to iteratively improve deliverables based on project-specific requirements
Skills
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with a strong portfolio demonstrating slide reconstruction and advanced presentation design
- Proven ability to distill and visualize complex datasets into accessible, business-oriented insights
- Experience with content editing, data storytelling, and producing analytics reports for diverse stakeholders
- Keen critical thinking skills and exceptional attention to detail in both quantitative and qualitative tasks
- Strong written communication abilities, with a track record of crafting clear, concise, and engaging narratives
- Background in data science, analytics, statistics, or a related field
- Prior consulting experience is a plus
