🌍 Remote · United States 💼 Full-time

About the role We’re looking for a warm, knowledgeable Graduate Gemologist to connect with our clients before they visit us. You’ll call clients ahead of their scheduled appointments to learn what they’re looking for in a diamond, so our in-store team can have the right stones ready the moment they walk in. This is a flexible, work-from-home position, ideal for someone who loves diamonds and talking with people.

What you’ll do

  • Call clients before their appointments to welcome them and confirm the visit

  • Ask about their diamond preferences: shape, carat size, color, clarity, and cut

  • Learn whether they’re interested in natural or lab-grown diamonds

  • Explain diamond quality factors in clear, friendly language and help clients understand their trade-offs

  • Take detailed notes and pass them to the in-store team so they can pull diamonds ahead of time

  • Flag special requests, such as specific certifications, fancy shapes, or hard-to-find stones

  • Follow up with clients who need to reschedule or have more questions

What you bring

  • GIA Graduate Gemologist (GG) diploma (required)

  • Strong knowledge of diamond grading and the 4Cs

  • Excellent people skills and a natural ease on the phone

  • A good listener who asks thoughtful questions and makes clients feel comfortable

  • Clear, organized note-taking and reliable follow-through

  • Comfortable working independently from home with a quiet space and dependable phone/internet

  • Diamond or jewelry retail experience is a plus

Why you’ll like it

  • Fully remote with flexible scheduling

  • Use your diamond expertise without being on a sales floor

  • Help clients find the right diamond for engagements, anniversaries, and other milestones

Pay: $23/hour Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, with flexible hours

To apply: Send your resume and a short note about why you love working with clients and tell us about your background in diamonds.
