[Remote] Drinking Water - Project Leader

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Metric Geo is advertising a Project Leader role for an established engineering consultancy. The role leads drinking water infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction, manages project delivery and multidisciplinary teams, and supports client relationships and business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead drinking water projects across treatment, distribution and wider water system infrastructure, from planning and design through to construction
• Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing and overall delivery
• Build and maintain client relationships, identifying opportunities for future work
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors and technical specialists
• Contribute to proposals, fee development and business development activities
• Maintain technical quality standards and support the development of junior engineers

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline
• Professional Engineer (PE) licence
• 8+ years of consulting engineering experience
• 5+ years of project management experience
• Strong background in drinking water infrastructure, ideally across treatment, distribution or water system planning
• Proven ability to manage project finances, schedules and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills and confidence managing client relationships
• Experience contributing to proposals and business development
