The company is seeking a freelance Email Marketing Specialist to own and elevate email and SMS marketing by creating reputed company campaigns, managing automated flows, optimizing audience segmentation, and reputed company retention, engagement, and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Concept, design, and build email campaigns from start to finish
- Develop a monthly email marketing calendar around launches, restocks, brand moments, reputed company content, press, and promotions
- Write concise, compelling email copy, reputed company lines, and preview text
- Create emails that feel visually consistent with reputed company's brand and overall creative direction
- Manage and optimize automated flows, including welcome, abandoned checkout, browse abandonment, post-purchase, winback, and VIP/customer retention
- Segment audiences based on purchase behavior, engagement, product interest, and customer lifecycle
- Monitor campaign and flow performance across revenue, click rate, conversion, engagement, and list health
- Regularly test creative, messaging, send timing, offers, and segmentation
- Identify opportunities to increase repeat purchase rate and customer lifetime value
- Collaborate with our founders and creative team around launches, campaigns, imagery, and overall messaging
- Ensure all campaigns are QA'd and optimized across desktop and mobile
Skills
- 1+ years of hands-on email marketing experience, ideally within fashion, beauty, accessories, luxury, or lifestyle
- Strong experience with reputed company
- Strong visual taste and an understanding of fashion/e-commerce email design
- Comfortable working in reputed company, reputed company, reputed company Creative Suite, or similar design platforms
- Excellent short-form copywriting skills
- Strong understanding of segmentation, flows, A/B testing, deliverability, and retention strategy
- Comfortable interpreting performance data and translating it into actionable changes
- Extremely detail-oriented and able to work independently
- An understanding of how email fits within a broader brand, reputed company, social, and e-commerce strategy
- Experience with reputed company
- Experience with SMS marketing
- Experience working with a premium or luxury reputed company brand
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
- Experience creating or evolving a brand's email design system
