[Remote] Entry-Level Financial Services Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Great Northern Financial is an independent financial services firm that helps individuals and families pursue financial goals through retirement planning, income protection, and tax-advantaged savings strategies. The Entry-Level Financial Services Consultant studies for a state Life and Health license, works with clients alongside a mentor, and builds a client portfolio by helping clients explore financial and insurance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Study for and pass your state Life and Health license exam with full support. The license is yours to keep
• Get to know clients: their goals, their concerns, and what matters most to them
• Work alongside your mentor on planning and client conversations
• Begin working independently once you’re licensed and ready, while growing your own book of business
• Retirement income and guided retirement solutions
• Tax-advantaged savings strategies
• Personal and family budgeting
• How their current accounts (401(k)s, IRAs, HSAs, savings) and Social Security fit into the bigger picture

Skills

• 18 or older
• Authorized to work in, and currently residing in the U.S
• High integrity, accountability, and professionalism
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A self-starter who wants to keep learning
• No financial services experience required; we train from the ground up
