Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Staffing Solutions Enterprises is seeking an experienced Epic application expert to support healthcare technology solutions. The Epic Senior Application Analyst will design, configure, test, and implement Epic applications, optimize workflows, support upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and mentor analysts to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, test, and implement Epic system applications that directly impact patient outcomes and operational excellence
- Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to develop workflows, support upgrades, and mentor fellow analysts
- Lead system upgrades, troubleshoot interface issues, and manage complex project life cycles
- Gather requirements, assess workflows, and develop optimized solutions
- Develop security protocols, testing scripts, and document procedures
- Engage stakeholders, mentor team members, and provide training
- Work independently and within cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines and increasing demands
- Participate in on-call support rotations, including 24/7 availability as needed
- Develop comprehensive documentation, policies, and training materials
Skills
- Strong expertise in designing, configuring, testing, and maintaining Epic applications with a minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience required
- Proven ability to lead system upgrades, troubleshoot interface issues, and manage complex project life cycles required
- Epic Hospital Billing Claims & Remittance Certification (Required)
- Excellent analytical skills to gather requirements, assess workflows, and develop optimized solutions
- Competence in developing security protocols, testing scripts, and documenting procedures
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement, team mentorship, and training
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines and increasing demands
- Must hold current Epic Application Certification
- Willingness to participate in on-call support rotations, including 24/7 availability as needed
- Ability to develop comprehensive documentation, policies, and training materials
- Prior experience with project management frameworks and change management strategies
