[Remote] Federal Cloud Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mastech is seeking a Federal Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and support secure cloud infrastructure across federal government environments. The role focuses on infrastructure as code, cloud networking, identity and access management, CI/CD, monitoring, incident response, and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Designs, deploys, and supports secure cloud infrastructure across federal government environments using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure , including workloads authorized up to FedRAMP High
• Responsible for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud networking, identity and access management (IAM), CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, incident response, and security/compliance documentation aligned with federal requirements
• Partners with architects, cybersecurity teams, and government stakeholders to deliver resilient, scalable, and compliant cloud solutions

• Experience with NIST controls, FedRAMP evidence, and federal cloud operations is preferred
