The Finance Controller will manage financial operations, prepare and analyze reports, monitor budgets and liquidity, support audits and compliance, and improve reporting processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making
- Monitor and control company budgets, expenses, and cost efficiency
- Manage reporting for multiple entities within the group (Serbia, Germany, Italy, Croatia)
- Support audits and ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulations
- Prepare cash flow projections and monitor liquidity
- Participate in continuous process improvements and automation of reporting
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a controlling or financial reporting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Navision, or similar)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
