[Remote] Freelance Senior Digital Marketing Developer (Content Manager)

Huge is seeking a freelance senior digital marketing developer (content manager) to assemble, optimize, and publish digital experiences using Contentful. The role turns creative assets and copy into accessible, SEO-optimized web pages and coordinates content deployment across digital channels.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Assembly: Build, update, and publish digital experiences using approved copy, modular components, and design frameworks within Contentful
• Quality Assurance & Review: Perform rigorous pre-publish checks on image rendering, responsive breakpoints, SEO metadata, and design fidelity
• Workflow & Revision Management: Leverage Contentful revision history and preview tools to safely update content, track changes, and advance pages through governance gates without disruptive releases
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Design, Technology, and Product teams to maintain visual integrity, asset compliance, and functional standards across all digital channels

Skills

• Proven, hands-on experience working with Contentful for content modeling, component assembly, and multi-channel publishing
• Solid experience with enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, Brightspot)
• Sound understanding of foundational SEO setups, including meta descriptions, tags, and open graph/social sharing metadata
• Good grasp of web accessibility (WCAG) best practices and standards
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure live pages strictly adhere to approved copy, design comps, component behavior, and styling
• Proficiency in digital asset management, including web optimization, performance best practices, and cropping constraints
• Experience managing multi-language content, regional localization, and translation workflows
• Comfortable utilizing browser developer tools (Inspect Element) to review DOM structure and troubleshoot page issues
• Practical understanding of staging, preview, and production deployment lifecycles
