[Remote] Full Stack Engineer - React JS/Node JS

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Apptad is the employing company for this role. The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and responsive frontend applications using Node.js and React.js. The role also involves architecture, CI/CD, database optimization, testing, production support, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems and APIs using Node.js
• Build responsive and user-centric frontend applications using React.js
• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade RESTful APIs
• Contribute to system architecture, microservices design, scalability, and performance optimization
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design, indexing, performance tuning, and high-availability solutions
• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure application quality
• Participate throughout the complete SDLC, from requirements analysis through deployment and production support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement performance and reliability improvements
• Use Python for backend services, automation, scripting, or system integrations

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 6–8 years of experience in full-stack or backend-focused software development
• Strong expertise in: Node.js, Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks, React.js & RESTful API design and development
• Strong understanding of: SQL and NoSQL databases, Database design, optimization, and performance tuning, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools
• Microservices architecture
• Distributed systems
• Software design patterns and development best practices
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Azure or GCP cloud platforms
• Working knowledge of Python
• Experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks is a plus
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
