Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Akash Network is a decentralized cloud computing marketplace supported by Overclock Labs, building products at the intersection of AI, cloud, and decentralized infrastructure. The Senior Full Stack Engineer will develop frontend and backend features, maintain public APIs and SDKs, automate testing and CI/CD, support customer integrations, and contribute to engineering and open-source communities.
Responsibilities
- Develop frontend and backend features for [Akash Console](https://console.akash.network/) , [AkashML](https://akashml.com/), and [Akash Homenode](https://homenode.akash.network/)
- Build and maintain public APIs and SDKs for partners at , , and more
- Work on automated tests and build (CI/ CD) automation
- Interface with customers looking to integrate with Akash
- Participate in technical discussions on public community forums like Discord, Github and elsewhere
- Identify areas of improvement in terms of issues/bugs, as well as process improvements across the engineering organization
Skills
- 8+ years of relevant work experience
- 5+ years of experience working with Javascript, Typescript & React & [Next.js](http://Next.js5)
- [5](http://Next.js5)+ years of experience with postgres or similar SQL databases. Need to be an expert level SQL query developer
- Experience with common cloud services, databases
- Experience setting up and working with CI/CD tooling such as Github actions and Docker/ Containers/ Microservices
- Experience working with Open Source tooling and building or contributing to open source software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for automation and coding best practices
- Ability to work independently, take initiative when necessary and have a sense of ownership
- Experience building developer tools
- Experience working for a cloud service provider
- Experience or familiarity with blockchains and crypto
- Huge bonus if you are familiar with Akash or have used it
