Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Peraton is hiring a Google Cloud Platform Engineer to support a Federal Government customer. The role focuses on onboarding and configuring the customer’s GCP landing zone, cloud infrastructure support, automation, monitoring, patching, and ticket resolution.
Responsibilities
- Cloud project provisioning tasks, automation scripting, monitoring and support activities, patching support, change and incident ticket resolution
- Expertise with GCP and other cloud service providers required
- Role requires scheduled on-call support which is rotated through the team
Skills
- 5 years with BS/BA or 9 years with a HS Diploma/equivalent
- 5 years experience in Google Cloud Platform in an enterprise setting
- GCP organizations, IAM, security policy and platform observability practices
- Development and automation skills such as Git, Python, CICD, Ansible etc
- GCP Cloud Engineer certification or equivalent
- ServiceNow or similar ticketing system experience
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance
- Expertise with GCP and other cloud service providers required
- Subject matter expert in GCP administration
- CSPM experience for compliance with regulatory frameworks
- FedRAMP High and moderate environments and boundary requirements
