[Remote] Head of Creative Operations

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Coinbase is hiring a Head of Creative Operations to manage design and motion resources and coordinate creative projects across its Creative Studio. The role partners with internal teams, contractors, and agencies to deliver high-quality work on time and equip creative talent with the tools and resources they need.

Responsibilities

• Resource manage team of full-time and contract design and motion talent. Distributing and managing their work-loads. Consistently responsible for distributing these tools internally and externally
• On-board and oversee design and motion contractors and agency partners to efficiently scale up and down with the needs of the business
• Lead select design and motion projects and efforts between multiple workstreams, ensuring quality and timeliness accounted for the work
• Enable all design and motion talent and agency partners with the tools and resources necessary to do their best work

Skills

• BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, relevant work experience)
• Experience sourcing and on-boarding contract design and motion talent, as well as design and motion agency partners
• Prowess in design and motion resource management with stellar organizational skills in design
• Experience with relationships with top talent Globally
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to lead in-house design and motion work, as well as oversee the work of agency partners
• Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in daily workflows, continuously learn as tools evolve, and apply human‑in‑the‑loop practices to deliver business‑ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality
• A background of delivering creative work for world-class brands & products across all media, with significant experience in design operations management
