Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Viridian Staffing is recruiting on behalf of an unnamed fast-moving startup in the cannabis industry. The Hemp/CBD Category Sales Representative will grow retail distribution and sales volume, using existing customer relationships and channel marketing experience.
Responsibilities
- You will use your existing CBD / hemp store book of business or your retail channel sales experience, combined with trade / channel marketing experience, to grow the number of retailers carrying the product in your territory, while growing sales volume at existing stores
- You'll have the opportunity to utilize your expert level knowledge of the company's brand to elevate the brand's community profile
Skills
- Experienced Hemp/CBD Category Manager or Retail Sales Account Executive
- You must have experience selling into one of the following: cannabis dispensaries, food distributors, CBD / Hemp stores, or Natural Food/Pet Stores
- Your background in channel/trade marketing in addition to your Cannabis sales experience
- Exceptional negotiation skills
- Proven communication skills
- Your ability to build lasting relationships with customers
- Expert level knowledge of the company's brand
- Proven success in driving growth in CBD companies
- An existing book of business /experience selling CBD products into a variety of channels
- Establishing credibility & rapport with clients
- Building professional relationships
- If you have experience successfully selling CBD based products into grocery, convenience, or drug channels; this experience
