Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Martin Brower is a global supply chain leader providing smart, sustainable solutions for customers across 18 countries. The Industrial Engineer will define and implement engineered standards across distribution centers, analyze operational performance, develop procedures, train warehouse staff, manage strategic projects, and support warehouse management system configuration. The position is fully remote with approximately 90% travel required.
Responsibilities
- Define work elements, complete floor observations, analyze data, and implement engineered standards in Distribution Centers (DCs) across the United States
- Trend analysis of DCs performance, efficiency, & capacity
- Review, refine, and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Lead training for warehouse staff explaining engineered labor standards (ELS)
- Project management of strategic projects including layout optimization, slotting/pick paths, racking configurations
- Support/coordinate warehouse management system (WMS) configuration. Ability to translate operational requirements into WMS config/solutions
- Up to 90% travel is required
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree with 2 to 4 years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 5 to 7 plus years of specific experience
