[Remote] Junior Network Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Insight Global is seeking a Junior Network Engineer to support network and security infrastructure in an enterprise environment. The role focuses on administering, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network technologies across data center, cloud, and office locations.

Responsibilities

• This role will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network technologies across data center, cloud, and office locations

Skills

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience
• Practical experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Panorama, Aruba networking, Aruba ClearPass, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and enterprise load balancers
• A strong foundation in networking fundamentals
• A security-focused mindset
• Good troubleshooting skills
• The ability to work collaboratively with infrastructure, security, application, and service desk teams
• 2–4 years of hands-on networking experience
• Strong TCP/IP and LAN/WAN fundamentals
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks
• Hands-on network troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of DNS, routing, wireless, and network security
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and learning mindset
• Exposure to Aruba, F5, Panorama, SD-WAN, or cloud networking
