Lumen Solutions Group Inc. is a technology consulting services company that provides IT professionals and consulting support for clients. They are seeking a hands-on Senior/Lead Software Engineer to support modernization and migration of on-prem applications to AWS, with a focus on cloud readiness, application development, integration, deployment, and technical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, testing, integration, and deployment
- Migrate and modernize on-prem applications for AWS
- Develop technical solutions and participate in architecture decisions
- Conduct code reviews and mentor developers
- Identify technical risks and improve application performance
- Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Project Managers
Skills
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years hands-on experience with: AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Istio, Helm Charts, and OAuth 2.0
- Strong Java application development experience
- Cloud migration / modernization experience
- Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and SDLC
- Experience with application integration, deployment, testing, and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps and software architecture
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
- Strong technical leadership, stakeholder communication, and mentoring skills
