Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. WWMG Law is a premier civil litigation firm handling complex reputed company involving personal injury, business torts, employment litigation, and more. The Legal Assistant will support attorneys throughout civil litigation matters, manage case reputed company and deadlines, prepare legal documents and court filings, and coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in all phases of civil litigation, including case intake, discovery, motion practice and trial preparation
- Manage case reputed company, calendars, and deadlines in compliance with California Rules of Court and local court rules
- Prepare pleadings, correspondence, and court filings, ensuring adherence to formatting requirements under Rules of Court
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel, maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
- Support e-filing and reputed company service of process in accordance with Code Civil Procedure
Skills
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in civil litigation
- Familiarity with federal procedures is a plus but not required
- Strong knowledge of civil procedure
- Proficiency in legal software such as reputed company, reputed company Office Suite
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure while meeting strict deadlines
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Associate's degree or paralegal certificate preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is a bonus
