In this role, lawyers review legal documents and AI-generated legal outputs, verify legal analysis and citations, and provide clear feedback to help improve legal AI systems.
Responsibilities
- Annotate legal documents and agreements; verify that case-law analysis is accurate and follows U.S. legal standards
- Check citations in legal writing against Bluebook requirements
- Edit legal writing samples and assess AI-generated legal outputs for accuracy, legal reasoning and clarity
- Summarize complex legal concepts and give practitioners clear feedback about the logic and structure of legal arguments
Skills
- Have earned a J.D. at a law school in the United States, or be a current law student there
- Strong knowledge of U.S. law, demonstrated legal analysis ability, plus experience reviewing legal documents, performing legal analysis or working as a paralegal
- Excellent command of Bluebook citations and cite-checking, with clear communication in professional writing and speech
- For law students, prior editing experience with a legal journal or law review is required
- No AI experience needed
